Dr. Yvonne C. Garitty grew up in a military family, a journey that eventually led her to Georgia, where she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She went on to complete her Doctorate in Dental Medicine and a General Practice Residency at The Dental College of Georgia in Augusta.

After several years of practicing comprehensive dental care in North Georgia, Dr. Garitty discovered a strong passion for treating dental infections and helping patients in pain. This passion inspired her to pursue a specialization in Endodontics, completing her post-doctoral training at Louisiana State University.

Dedicated to saving teeth and alleviating discomfort, Dr. Garitty is committed to providing a seamless, compassionate experience for every patient. She recognizes the anxiety that often accompanies dental pain and procedures, and she emphasizes patient education to ensure each root canal is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

A firm believer in evidence-based dentistry, Dr. Garitty integrates advanced imaging and stays current on the latest advancements in Endodontics. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, and the American Board of Endodontics. She is proud to be among the 30% of endodontists who have achieved board certification, reflecting her commitment to excellence in her field.

Outside of the office, Dr. Garitty cherishes time with her family. She and her husband, Tommy, recently welcomed their son, Benjamin, born on Christmas Eve 2024. Together, they enjoy traveling and have recently explored Argentina and Paris.
